This week ended on a high note. We held our Read-A-Thon Kickoff Assembly! The SMSPA has, once again, set some lofty goals for our students.
$5,000 - Mr. Keenan gets duct taped to the gym wall!
$12,500 - Mr. Keenan gets SLIMED!!!
We are all greatly impressed because our students have already read over 5,000 minutes, raised over $8,000 and we are only one week into a three week event! This is awesome. I expect that our goal this year will be obliterated.
Our Middle School students will sit for Subject Area Midterm Exams next week. Schedules and Review information have been distributed. Also, students in Grades 3 - 8 sit for Religion Midterms.
Information on Guitar Lessons from Mr. Ponce, Volleyball Tryouts and Catholic Schools Week Events have been posted on our website. Use the link below to download.
We move closer to the Annual Re-Registration Period. Packets for current families with tuition information and re-registration directions are set to come home next week.
Parents interested in Kindergarten are urged to submit an application right away. We have had significant interest already and want to make sure our current families do not miss out on our limited spaces for September. The Registration link is on our site.
We have scheduled an Open House for Sunday, January 26th. We will be in need of Student & Parent Volunteers. A separate email will be sent requesting those volunteers.
Kids In The Game has asked us to let families know that they have extended the Early Bird Registration. The KING Summer Camp has grown tremendously. Last year, over 100 children signed up for each week, requiring us to use two sites. Do not miss out. Register now! The link is on our Documents & Links page.
Finally, Monday is Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Day and school is closed for everyone. Enjoy the long weekend. Enjoy the NFL Playoffs. Enjoy whatever snow we expect to get!
